On the occasion of the accident that happened this morning in the black coal mine “Soko” near Sokobanja, the Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Marija Obradović, expressed condolences on behalf of the Ministry, the Government of the Republic of Serbia and herself to the families of the victims and managers of Municipalities of Aleksinac and Sokobanja.
“I was deeply shocked by the news that eight miners from Aleksinac and Sokobanja lost their lives in the accident which happened this morning in the black coal mine” Soko”, while a large number of them sustained injuries.
I am convinced that the managements of the Municipalities of Aleksinac and Sokobanja will do everything in their power to assist the families of the victims and injured persons, while the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, as the parent house of all cities and municipalities, is available for provision of any type of support within its competences” Minister Obradović has said.
