OBRADOVIĆ: IT IS IMPORTANT THAT EVERYONE EXERCISE THEIR VOTING RIGHT, THERE ARE NO DOUBLE-REGISTERED VOTERS IN THE SER, NOR PHANTOM VOTERS

The Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Marija Obradović, has voted today, together with her family members, at the elections for the President of the Republic, for the MPs constituting the National Assembly, and for the councillors of the Belgrade City Assembly, at polling station 27, at the Second Economics School in Belgrade.

Following the voting, Minister Obradović has said that the election process was prepared as prescribed.

“It is important that all citizens exercise their right to vote, and vote in the elections at their own discretion.

As for the Single Electoral Roll, which is under the competencies of the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, it is in every way more up-to-date and more organized than it has ever been. There are no double-registered voters, nor any phantom voters. The most important thing is that today, the citizens can rest assured and have full confidence in respect of the Single Electoral Roll” Obradović has said.

She has added that the polling stations in Serbia have been opened on time, as well as that the voting has been progressing without any major irregularities, as well as that all competent bodies were informed about such irregularities whererever they arose.

“I am glad to see a large number of people all over Serbia at the polling stations, which means that the will of the voters will be presented as it is. I don’t remember that there was ever such a crowd at the polling stations,” Obradović has concluded.
