TODAY, ON DECEMBER 21ST, 2020, “ONE-STOP SHOPS” (OSS) HAVE BEEN OPENED FOR THE CITIZENS OF PIROT AND KURŠUMLIJA

From today, the citizens of Pirot and Kuršumlija shall have “One-Stop Shop (OSS), where they will be able to do all their work in the town and municipality in one place.

Lady Minister Marija Obradović of the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, together with the Mayor Vladan Vasić, MA, opened the OSS premises in Pirot, and in Kuršumlija, together with the President of the Municipality, Rodoljub Vidić. Pirot and Kuršumlija received budget funds for this Project at the competition of the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government.

Minister Obradović invited the residents of Pirot and Kuršumlija to submit their requests in the OSS premises starting from today, where the employees will assure them that the local administration is becoming their service.

„Citizens of Pirot and Kuršumlija, please come to OSS and submit your request at one place, one counter, and your administration will continue to work for you. I invite you, citizens of Pirot and Kuršumlija, the Mayor of Pirot and the President of Kuršumlija Municipality, people employed in the OSS, but also all others from local authorities, to explain the importance of this place, to inform you about the novelties introduced into work today and what shall that specifically mean for you. As of today, there are no walks from counter to counter, there are no additional papers that someone will ask for from you, but your town and municipality will do it for you”, said Minister Obradović.

She congratulated the managements in these two local self-government units and the employees in the administrations, on the capacity and strength to establish OSS in their communities, and expressed hope that the scope of services they provide to citizens will expand every day.

Pirot and Kuršumlija are the 12th and 13th local self-government units in Serbia that have established OSS. In Pirot, citizens will be able to submit various types of requests at 19 and in Kursumlija at 13 counters, to receive certificates and confirmations faster, apply for a building permit, more easily exercise their rights in the field of child and veteran-disabled protection or education, exercise their right to free snacks and textbooks, as well as to exercise in one place the right to enter or change data in the records of public companies.

 

So far, OSS has been opened in Lazarevac, Šabac, Žitište, Smederevska Palanka, Bela Palanka, Sombor, Kruševac, Vlasotince, Užice, Gornji Milanovac and Rača.

By the end of the year, OSS shall open in Stara Pazova, and the municipalities of Paraćin, Topola and Kosjerić signed Agreements on the Establishment of OSS in early December, the opening of which is expected to be next year.
