Today, the Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Marija Obradović, has talked with the representatives of the National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NALED) about intensifying cooperation in the field of improving inspection supervision.
The interlocutors have exchanged opinions on further plans of the Ministry for Institutionalization of work of the Support Unit to the Commission for Coordination of Inspection Supervision, considering the possibilities for amending the existing regulation in this area.
The potential cooperation on the project for establishing an eGovernment development index at the level of cities and municipalities was also discussed at the meeting, with the aim of encouraging local self-government units to continue the process of developing electronic services.
Obradović has stressed that the Ministry shall support NALED in the implementation of the project, and that it will inform cities and municipalities about the need for their more active participation in the development of eServices, with the goal of making public administration a real service for its citizens.
