The Sector for Civil Records and Registers

Assistant MinisterThe Sector for Civil Records and Registers performs duties pertaining to monitoring compliance with the regulations and the situation in the field of civil records and provides technical support to information systems and electronic databases of the systems for central electronic data processing and storage and keeping of backup copies of civil records, the Single Electoral Roll, the Special Electoral Roll of National Minorities, the Register of Political Parties, the Register of National Councils, the Central Population Register and other registers and records.
It compiles reports on the implementation of ratified bilateral and multilateral treaties and European integration regarding the affairs of central records.
