Today, the State Secretary at the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Đorđe Dabić, together with the Mayor of Požarevac, Saša Pavlović, has visited the final stage of works on the introduction of modern ambient lighting at the Town Hall building in Požarevac, which the Ministry financially supported with budget funds in the total amount of RSD 10 million.
“For years, the Ministry and the City of Požarevac have been cooperating exceptionally well in various areas of social and economic life. Our successful partnership is reflected in the numerous projects that we have implemented and realized, while the works on the decorative lighting of the Town Hall building are currently being completed, for which MDULS has allocated RSD 10 million from this year’s Budget Fund”, Dabić has said during his tour of the final works on the building.
On this occasion, State Secretary Dabić, as a sign of Ministry’s continued support for the development of electronic administration, e-services and services at the local level, as well as a sing of support for the mandatory use of information and communication technologies in the daily work of the administration, had presented the city administration of Požarevac with 20 laptops with accompanying equipment.
State Secretary Dabić had also held a meeting today with the Mayor of Požarevac, Saša Pavlović. At the meeting, an overview of the current situation in this city was presented, as well as concrete steps which are being taken on the path to further modernize the city and strengthen its position as the administrative and economic center of the Braničevo Administrative District.
