EXTENDED VALIDITY OF SPECIAL COLLECTIVE AGREEMENTS FOR EMPLOYEES AT LSUS AND FOR STATE AUTHORITIES UNTIL 31 MAY 2023

Today, the Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Marija Obradović, the President of the Trade Union of the Serbian Administration, Slađan Bobić, and the Secretary General of the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities, Nikola Tarbuk, have signed a Special Collective Agreement amending the Special Collective Agreement for Employees at Local Self-Government Units, which specifies certain provisions regarding the rights and obligations of employees in the bodies of the Autonomous Provinces and Local Self-government Units.

Moreover, the Agreement on Extending the Validity of the Special Collective Agreement for Employees at Local Self-government Units until 31 May 2023 was also signed today, which ensures unhindered and continuous exercise of the rights provided under the Collective Agreement for employees at Local Self-government Units.

In addition, Minister Obradović, the President of the Trade Union of the Serbian Administration, Slađan Bobić, President of the Serbian Judiciary Trade Union, Slađanka Milošević, and President of the Trade Union of Judicial Organizations of Serbia (SOPOS), Violeta Marković, have signed an Agreement on extending the validity of the Special Collective Agreement for State Bodies, by which the validity of this Collective Agreement was extended for another year, i.e. until 31 May 2023, in order to ensure continuity in exercising the rights and duties of employees, i.e. with the aim of continuous application of provisions of the said Collective Agreement.

On this occasion, MDULS expresses its satisfaction with the cooperation it achieves in social dialogue with all participants – the representative trade unions and SCTM, in collective negotiations, and continues to work with social partners on Special Collective Agreements in the coming period.
