On the occasion of the International Women’s Day, 8 March, Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Aleksandar Martinović sent a greeting to all female citizens of the Republic of Serbia.
“Today we celebrate the holiday dedicated to all women who are the symbol and the cornerstone of our society, as well as the most courageous representatives of positive changes, success and advance. They constantly face with various challenges and it is our duty, and at the same time our utmost obligation to commit ourselves to their health and interest, that is, to focus on their good as much as possible.
Women in Serbia deserve respect and admiration every day of the year, and not only on 8 March, because by fighting for their own goals and standards, they dedicate themselves to the benefit of us all, and make the invaluable contribution to the improvement of the society and to the strengthening of the entire country.
Not only do we continue to support them in their aspirations and ambitions in all aspects of public and private life, but we also have to be their most loyal and best companions on the way to develop a modern and equal community.
Dear ladies, happy 8 March!“
