OBRADOVIĆ AND JUJIĆ: EXTREMELY HIGH LEVEL OF COOPERATION ACHIEVED BETWEEN THE LINE MINISTRIES OF THE REPUBLIKA SRPSKA AND THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA

The Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Marija Obradović, and the Minister of Administration and Local Self-Government of the Republika Srpska, Senka Jujić, have agreed that an extremely high level of cooperation between the ministries headed by them had been achieved in the previous year.

Following today’s meeting in Banja Luka where, inter alia, the implementation of the Action Plan for the implementation of the Memorandum on Cooperation between the line Ministries of the Republika Srpska and the Republic of Serbia was discussed, Minister Obradović has said that the satisfaction of the citizens of Serbia and Srpska, concerning the quality of life in local communities and services which public administration provides them with, is the only measure of success and the goal to which they should strive together.

“The two of us have shown how two women at the head of their respective ministries, who have a major objective ahead of them – the Public Administration Reform – can accelerate and intensify their cooperation,” Obradović has said.

Obradović and Jujić have expressed their satisfaction with the intensive cooperation between the employees of their respective ministries and with the fulfilment of the goals from the Action Plan for 2021/2022, as well as with the exchange of experiences and good practices in the field of Public Administration Reform in Serbia and Srpska.

The meeting between the two ministers is the third meeting in a row in the last year, which follows after the two Governments held a joint session in East Sarajevo in May last year, and after the visit of Minister Jujić to Serbia at the end of 2021.
