State Secretary

He was born on 15 February 1953 in Užice, Republic of Serbia. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Novi Sad in 1983.

He began his career in 1972 at the company “Metaloprerada” JSC in Užice, where he served as a financial manager from 1990 to 2005.

From 2005 to 2006, he held the position of General Director at “Zlatibor – Gradnja” JSC in Užice.

In 2006, he joined the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance, Užice branch office, where he worked as branch director until 2018.

He served as State Secretary in the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veterans, and Social Policy from 2021 to 2022.

In January 2023, he was appointed state secretary in the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government.

He has been a member of the Executive Board of the Party of United Pensioners, Farmers, and Proletarians of Serbia (PUPS) since 2014.

At the government session held on 20 June 2024, he was reappointed as state secretary in the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government.

He has been retired since 2018.

He is married and the father of two children.
