RUŽIĆ OPENS A SINGLE ADMINISTRATIVE POINT IN SMEDEREVSKA PALANKA

The Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Branko Ružić, opened a single administrative point in Smederevska Palanka today, under a project that the Ministry supported with six million dinars.

“I am glad that now citizens of Smederevska Palanka will be able to complete their errands in one place, faster and more efficiently, resulting in not having to visit several different institutions”, stated Minister Ružić, adding that employees would now have better working conditions.

He emphasized that the Ministry managed to allocate EUR one million in three years to support cities and municipalities throughout Serbia to organize single administrative points and raise the quality of services they provided to citizens.

“The objective is to introduce this system in every municipality and city”, indicated Minister Ružić.

Citizens will be able to complete their errands at a Single Administrative Point, including pay taxes, exercise their right to child allowance, receive issued birth certificates and so-forth. This is the third single administrative point that has been opened in Serbia, after Lazarevac and Sombor.

The Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government initiated this project in 2018, when eight local self-governments were supported with RSD 52 million as a pilot project in the opening of Single Administrative Points. We continued to support cities and municipalities in the opening of SAPs over the course of 2019, when we supported six additional cities and municipalities with a total of RSD 45 million dinars, while RSD 30 million are intended for this project in 2020.
