Over 10,000 submissions were received in the first six months of operation of the Contact Center for Republic Inspections, most of them concerning market inspection and the Labor Inspectorate.
Initially, most complaints were about the high prices of food, drugs and medical equipment, and now they most complaints are about the non-compliance with epidemiological measures.
Non-compliance with preventive measures can be reported through the unique Contact Center for Inspections through its portal www.inspektor.gov.rs or by calling the following phone number: 011 / 63-50-322.
The unique Contact Center of Republic Inspections is a single administrative place for all 44 inspections where citizens and the economy can express doubts about possible legality or compliance with certain binding regulations. The center’s operators and analysts process the application and forward it to the competent inspection.
The establishment of the Contact Center for Republic Inspections is one of the planned activities in the reform of the inspection system, and the start of this center was accelerated in order to protect citizens and the economy from negligent behavior during the pandemic.
The Contact Center was launched this March by the Government of the Republic of Serbia in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, the Support Unit for the Coordination Commission for Inspection Supervision, the Office for IT and eGovernment and NALED, and with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
