The Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Marija Obradović, pointed out during the visit of the Ambassador of the United States of America, Anthony Godfrey, that she appreciates his commitment to improving cooperation between the two countries, where the financial, economic and investment climate, amid the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, are as important as the political and bilateral issues.
Ambassador Godfrey congratulated Marija Obradović on taking Ministerial position and taking responsibility in an area that is significantly important for the development and growth of the country. He stressed that the United States of America will use the favorable moment in mutual relations to monitor and help Serbia’s progress in all areas, which includes the priority goals of the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government.
Minister Obradović thanked Mr. Godfrey for his interest in the priorities and issues of public administration and local self-government and emphasized that, accordingly, she would intensify cooperation with the US Embassy on all issues important for the implementation of public administration reforms, which would improve everyday lives of Serbian citizens.
