Today, Minister Marija Obradović received the representatives of the “European Affairs” Fund – AP Vojvodina, who presented the plans of this organization for the coming period, and whose focus will be directed towards providing support to local self-governments.
During the conversation, opinions were exchanged regarding the models of potential cooperation between MDULS and this organization in terms of mapping the situation in local self-government units and support for their networking, with the aim of attracting external sources of funding.
The director of the “European Affairs” Fund – AP Vojvodina, Aleksandar Simurdić, introduced Minister Obradović to the project of mapping the situation and potential in 45 municipalities, in order to define priorities for capital investments, which can be financed from European funds. Given that local self-government units have similar problems, the goal is to support them in their long-term planning and their systematic approach to solving problems, especially in areas such as ecology, health, economy, education, and culture.
