The Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government has donated 40 laptops to the Municipalities of Arilje and Priboj. The donation was presented to representatives of local self-governments by the State Secretary at the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Đorđe Dabić, who pointed out that MDULS, in this way, helps to improve the work of local authorities and provides support to cities and municipalities on their way to further development.
Dabić has emphasized that he discussed with the President of the Municipality of Arilje, Predrag Maslar, the projects that the Government of the Republic of Serbia is implementing in this local self-government, the most important of which is the construction of the Svračkovo dam, for which funds in the amount of EUR 100 million have been allocated. He added that the State continuously invests in the road infrastructure in the territory of this municipality and works on attracting new investments.
At the meeting, among other things, the possibility of the Municipality of Arilje applying for funds next year from the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government for the project of rehabilitation of the primary school in Arilje was discussed.
The State Secretary has pointed out that the Government of the Republic of Serbia had helped a lot in the development of Priboj, and that more than RSD 1 billion have been invested in roads in the territory of this municipality in the past years. As he stated, the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government shall continue to support the implementation of quality projects that are in the interest of citizens in all local self-governments throughout the country, and invited the Municipality of Priboj to apply for MDULS funds in the next year.
