State Secretary in the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Maja Mačužić Puzić, spoke today, on behalf of the Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Aleksandar Martinović, at the ceremonial session of the Kosjerić Municipal Assembly held on the occasion of the celebration and marking of the Municipal Day.
Recalling the cooperation between the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government and the Municipality of Kosjerić, State Secretary Maja Mačužić Puzić specifically referred to the specific results of the partnership between the two levels of government, republican and local, emphasizing that the Ministry was a partner of the municipality on one of the most significant capital projects, and that it helped the implementation of the second phase of the reconstruction and extension of the “Gradske toplana Kosjerić” boiler facility, as well as the conversion from fuel oil to natural gas.
She stated that Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government financially supported the expansion of the capacity of the preschool institution “Olga Grbić”, as well as that the municipality of Kosjerić was one of the first to establish a branded Single Administrative Site, a service provision center aimed at saving citizens time and money, as well as modernizing the work of the municipal administration.
In her address, the State Secretary also pointed out that the government has invested a lot, not only in Kosjerić, but in the entire Zlatibor district, as well as that the real outcomes, real results and achievements of the policy of the President of the Republic Aleksandar Vučić and the Government are visible at every step, in all social areas. She added that there is always room for progress and that the leadership, guided precisely by the trust of the people, but also by the results so far, will continue to lead the policy of balanced regional development and strengthening of Serbia.
She expressed her belief that the Ministry will raise its cooperation with local leaders to an even higher level in the future and that it will invest even more in the development opportunities of Kosjerić.
The seventh of March is included in the holiday calendar of the municipality of Kosjerić and is celebrated as a sign of remembrance of the day when in 1983, by decree of King Aleksandar Obrenović, the village of Kosjerić was declared a town.
Today, the most deserving citizens of Kosjerić were presented with awards and plaques for their outstanding results in the previous year.
