PROJECT TITLE: Support to the implementation of the Public Administration Reform Strategy Action Plan – Local Self-Government Reform Phase 2 (continuation of the project “Support to the Implementation of the Public Administration Reform Strategy Action Plan 2016-2019”)

BENEFICIARY: Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government

PARTNERS: Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities, Republic Secretariat for Public Policy

PROJECT AIM: Support to the execution of the activities of the new PARSAP 2018-2020 (preparation of a strategic programme framework for the local self-government system reform, support in the enforcement of amendments and supplements to the Law on Local Self-Government in the preparation of amendments and supplements to the People’s Initiative and Referendum Act); Support to the development of inter-municipal cooperation through the establishment of the Inter-municipal Cooperation Fund; Improvement of the LSGU Information system – Database. The project is a continuation of the project “Support to the Implementation of the Public Administration Reform Strategy Action Plan – Local Self-Government Reform 2016-2019”, which is in progress and is to end in October 2019.

EXECUTION PERIOD: In the phase of the approval of the project fiche. This project should continue at the end of the second quarter of 2018 and last until the end of 2019.
