ReSPA (Regional School of Public Administration) and OECD/SIGMA invite the public administration institutions of the Western Balkans to apply with their initiatives aimed at improving the provision of services to citizens, and win valuable prizes!
The motto of this year’s competition “Better public services for a better life of citizens” expresses in the best way the desire of the organizers to highlight all those initiatives that are tailored to the needs of citizens, and which may inspire others in the region to apply such or similar experiences.
The prizes shall be adjusted to the needs of the winners, and will include an educational trip to EU countries and region.
Detailed information is available at https://www.respaweb.eu/wb_public_awards_2022.
At the first competition of public administrations in the region in 2020, the Government of the Republic of Serbia had won four awards, and the most awarded projects were for applications such as eScheduling for COVID-19 testing, contact centre eInspector and others.
ReSPA is an international organization established in 2010 by a joint initiative of the European Commission and the Western Balkans countries, managed by the governments of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia. ReSPA supports the governments of the Western Balkans region in achieving efficient and sustainable progress in terms of Public Administration Reform and European integration.
Last November, Serbia’s one-year successful presidency over the organization had ended, and it handed over the presidency to the Republic of Albania.
