On August 29, the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities (SCTM) awarded certificates to participants of e-Training “Implementation of the Act on General Administrative Procedure in Local Self-Government”. The training was successfully completed by 1086 employees from 135 cities and municipalities, who are engaged in administrative procedures as part of their daily tasks.
State Secretary in the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Ivan Bosnjak said that after e-Training Serbia will “be even more modern and of higher quality”.
“The new Act on General Administrative Procedure has become a new circulation of information, and all of us together, especially at the local level, are its most important parts – capillaries and veins, which will link information about the new flow and mode of communication between state authorities, local authorities, the economy and citizens to improve and to live in full extent,” said Bosnjak.
E-training was conducted in the period from May 22 to July 14, and this activity was organized by SCCT as partner in the project “Strengthening the capacities of employees in local self-government for implementation of the Act on General Administrative Procedure through electronic training”, which was financially supported by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
