From Monday, December 14th, the citizens of Rača will be able to complete every administrative work in their municipality by coming to only one counter.
The Municipality of Rača is opening its „One-Stop Shop” or OSS, where citizens will be able to submit various requests, applications, petitions, in one word, to exercise some of their rights.
OSS’ advantage in relation to the previous type of work is that instead of citizens, the municipal official shall perform all the necessary communication with other bodies and institutions, and shall obtain necessary documentation, which saves time and money, and the local government becomes a service to its citizens.
The Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government has been implementing the Project of Support to the Establishment of „One-Stop Shop” in Local Self-Governments for three years already, and during that time 10 such places have been opened in municipalities in Serbia, as follows: Lazarevac, Šabac, Žitište, Smederevska Palanka, Bela Palanka, Sombor. Kruševac, Vlasotince, Užice and Gornji Milanovac. On Monday, Rača municipality shall open its OSS, and by the end of the year, Pirot, Kuršumlija and Stara Pazova would follow.
