The State Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Maja Mačužić Puzić, has talked today with the delegation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), led by the head of the mission, Jan Kees Martijn, through an online platform, as part of her regular work activities.
Mačužić Puzić has pointed out that during this mandate, the Ministry continued to work In a committed manner on improving the framework of personnel planning in state bodies, which is one of the activities envisaged by the new Public Administration Reform Strategy for the period from 2021-2030.
The IMF delegation was informed that, with the support by GIZ, work has begun on innovating the methodology for personnel planning in state bodies, and that, in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance, a Staffing Plan for 2024 will be developed in accordance with that innovative methodology.
The State Secretary had mentioned, as one of the most important activities in the past period, the continuous work on the Catalogue of Jobs, which is the basis for the evaluation of all jobs in public services, local self-governments and state bodies.
The interlocutors have agreed that the previous mutual cooperation was at a high level, expressing the expectation that the successful cooperation would continue in the future.
The meeting with the IMF delegation was also attended by the Assistant Minister Ivana Savićević, Head of the Human Resources Management Sector.
