The Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Aleksandar Martinović, PhD, has visited Paraćin today and announced investments and state aid in the implementation of important projects in this municipality.
Martinović has stated that the municipal leadership had informed him about several projects that are in the final stages of preparation, such as the rehabilitation of the children’s playground in Gloždak. He added that the State, through various sources, will help the reconstruction of the Kralja Milutina Street in length of one kilometer, which will be of great importance for the citizens of Paraćin.
“Paraćin has many inherited problems from the period before 2020, which will be solved in the following period in cooperation with the line ministries. Paraćin will not be left to its own devices, as the State will support its further development and the implementation of priority projects, such as the rehabilitation of the local road infrastructure,” Martinović has said.
The minister has added that at the meeting with the President of the Municipality of Paraćin, Vladimir Milićević, and his associates, he agreed with them that the leaders of the municipality should create a list of priorities, after which a financing plan would be drawn up. According to him, it was also discussed that the municipal leadership, in cooperation with the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and the Government of the Republic of Serbia, will work on attracting at least two large investors in the coming period, which will lead to an increase in the number of employees in this municipality and improvement of the quality of life, which will prevent the outflow of residents as a result.
Martinović has also visited the One-Stop-Shop in Paraćin, the establishment of which was supported by the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government in the amount of RSD 8 million. Pointing out that this OSS is one of the most functional in the country, and that within it there are not only municipal administration departments, but also the Real Estate Cadastre Service, the Department of the Ministry of Interior and the Post Office, Martinović has pointed out that Paraćin, in this way, took a step forward in modernizing the municipal administration and improving the quality of services it provides to its citizens and the economy.
