The Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Aleksandar Martinović, PhD, had visited the Municipality of Beočin today, where he visited the recently opened One-Stop-Shop for which MDULS had allocated RSD 2.2 million.
Martinović has stressed that the advantage of the One-Stop-Shop in Beočin is that it also has a cash desk, so the citizens can fulfil their financial obligations at this OSS. He has added that the entire Government of the Republic of Serbia shall continue to aid the Municipality of Beočin with the aim of further development of its potential, primarily in the field of wine tourism.
“It so happens that the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, is currently in Italy, where he visited the wine fair yesterday. Due to the high-quality grapes from this area and the large number of registered wineries, and with the support of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Provincial Government, I firmly believe that a lot more can be done to put Beočin on the map of Serbia and Europe, as an important place for wine tourism. Let us all take advantage of the potential that this municipality has in this area, and organize a wine fair like the one in Verona in the next few years,” Martinović has said.
Expressing his satisfaction with the increase in the number of newborns in Beočin, Martinović has stressed that the Government of the Republic of Serbia is taking care of the even development of the entirety of Serbia, and that it is important that people stay in Beočin and for them to be provided with the best possible conditions for creating a family, the minister had concluded.
The president of the Municipality of Beočin, Biljana Janković, had expressed her gratitude for the support of the Ministry, which, by establishing the OSS, provided the opportunity to improve the provision of services, pointing out that the area is equally accessible to all categories of citizens. She has added that, although the Service Centre has existed since 2009, it is extremely important that even smaller communities keep up with the changes brought about by digitization.
During his visit to the Municipality of Beočin, Minister Martinović also held a meeting with the Head of the South Bačka Administrative District, Milan Novaković, the president of the Municipality of Beočin, Biljana Janković, as well as with other municipal leadership.
