The Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government is this year’s recipient of an award of the Municipality of Varvarin for successful cooperation achieved so far.
The State Secretary, Maja Mačužić Puzić, has received the said reward on behalf of MDULS at the solemn session of the Municipal Council of Varvarin, which was held today on the occasion of the Municipality Day.
“Such awards have a special value for the employees at MDULS, but they also carry with them a dose of obligation for the future, because the common goal is that our future cooperation would result in a greater number of quality services for your fellow citizens, better work of the municipal administration, as well as in an improvement of the overall environment and the living and working conditions of both citizens and businessmen in Varvarin”, Mačužić Puzić has said after having received the award.
She has expressed her satisfaction with the fact that MDULS and Varvarin have managed to implement numerous projects together, and especially with the fact that the residents of Varvarin got their own OSS (One-Stop-Shop) and that their local administration works for them.
Mačužić Puzić has used this opportunity to point out the fact that the head of this municipality is a woman, one of 22 local leaders in Serbia, putting a special emphasis on the cooperation between MDULS and the Municipality of Varvarin. MDULS is proud of the women of the Rasina district administration who have shown that they can be successful as politicians, but also as holders of public office, especially in situations where it is necessary to react in a timely manner.
“We are facing challenging times in every respect, both internally and externally, and I am sure that we will successfully overcome them together with a wise, peaceful and state-building policy. MDULS will continue to support efforts to make Varvarin one of the most successful environments in our country,” Mačužić Puzić has concluded.
