On the occasion of marking the official start of the Summer swimming season in Kruševac, the State Secretary at the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Čedomir Rakić, together with the Mayor of Kruševac, Jasmina Palurović, had visited today on behalf of the Minister, Aleksandar Martinović, PhD, the rehabilitated outdoor pools of the “Kruševac” Sports Center, in the reconstruction of which MDULS had invested RSD 22.4 million.
In addition to expressing his satisfaction that the rehabilitated swimming pools were handed over to the residents of Kruševac for their use, the State Secretary Rakić had expressed his belief that the improved sports infrastructure would significantly contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of residents in this area. He added that the sport complex’s capacity fully meets the needs of the residents of Kruševac, and that this significant investment will be a place for enjoyment, sports and recreation for people of all generations.
Emphasizing that the idea of President Aleksandar Vučić and the Government of the Republic of Serbia, as well as of MDULS, is to identify and help with the implementation of priority projects in all municipalities and cities, with the aim of ensuring equal living conditions for all people at the local level, Rakić had expressed his satisfaction that the joint project was implemented in a high-quality manner.
The adaptation of the three swimming pools was carried out in two stages. During the first stage, which was financed by the City of Kruševac, the Olympic pool was rehabilitated, while at the second stage, a pool for non-swimmers and a small pool were rehabilitated with the support of MDULS.
