The Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Aleksandar Martinović, PhD, has extended New Year greetings to the citizens of the Republic of Serbia on the upcoming holidays and wished them good health and peace in 2023.
“On behalf of the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government and on my own behalf, I wish for the New Year, as a symbol of a new beginning, to bring good health, peace and prosperity to all our citizens.
We are leaving behind a year in which, in spire of all the challenges and worries, we have once again achieved visible results, justified the citizens’ trust placed in us, and laid solid foundations for the further development of our country.
We still have a lot of work ahead of us, as well as a great responsibility to work in the best interest of the citizens and provide them with better living conditions, while preserving peace and stability remains our imperative.
The Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government shall continue to be a reliable partner to all cities and municipalities in the future. We shall continue to reform and digitize public administration and improve the quality of services for our citizens, who are the main reason and driver of all reform processes.
Unity is the fundamental principle upon which the survival and progress of the society rests; therefore, it is important for us to adhere to the principles of solidarity and mutual respect in the coming period as well. Happy New Year 2023!”
