Lady Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Marija Obradović and the Protector of Citizens, Zoran Pašalić, MA, continued today the consultations on Amendments to the Law on the Protector of Citizens.
The Minister and the Protector of Citizens agreed that the Working Group, which will work on drafting the law, will start working in January next year at the latest, and that its work should be as intensive as possible, so that the proposed changes would pass all necessary consultations and public debate, and the Proposed Amendments to the Law should be completed in the first quarter of the year 2021.
Lady Minister Obradović and Protector of Citizens, Pašalić, discussed today the starting points for drafting the text of the Draft Amendments to the Law on the Protector of Citizens and about open issues that will be before the Working Group, which will be formed by the end of the week.
Minister Marija Obradović started consultations on Amendments to this Law at the beginning of December, when the intensive work of the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government on Amendments to the Law on Free Access to Information of Public Importance was announced.
