The Coordination Commission for Inspection Supervision held its seventh session yesterday, chaired by Maja Mačužić Puzić, State Secretary in the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government. Pointing out that the work of the Commission in this convocation was productive and efficient in terms of the coordination of inspection supervision, Mačužić Puzić expressed her belief that in the future the activities that are important in the reform of inspections will be continued, primarily those related to increasing capacity and improving the status inspection.
At yesterday’s session, the members of the Commission unanimously adopted, among other things, the annual reports on the work of the republic inspections for 2023, as well as the Annual Report on the work of the Working Group for monitoring and harmonizing the inspection of non-profit organizations, and special attention was paid to the presentation of the Strategy for the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing.
Speaking about the Report on the work of inspections in the unique, functional software solution eInspektor in the second half of last year, Mačužić Puzić informed the audience that a total of 22,055 inspections were carried out through eInspektor from July to December 2023, and that the first inspection supervisions of state roads, postal traffic inspections and railway traffic inspections were recorded in that period. She added that in last December, a reduced number of inspections was noticed in eInspektor, which coincides with the announcement of the connection of this system with ePisarnica, in order to avoid double entry and processing of cases, and invited all inspections which have problems working through the system, to report these problems through the Contact Center for eInspektor on the website of the Information Technology and Electronic Administration Office, for easier monitoring and more efficient resolution.
