Today, Minister Marija Obradović received representatives of several non-governmental organizations, members of the National Convention on the EU (NCEU).
The working meeting discussed the manner and modalities of participation of NCEU representatives in the work of the special Working Group for drafting the text of the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Free Access to Information of Public Importance, which is underway.
It was stated in the conversation that there is mutual readiness and interest for NCEU to delegate its representatives to this special Working Group, but also to the Special Working Group working on the text of the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on the Protector of Citizens, and which will, after the final versions of documents have been determined, be the subject of public debate.
Starting from the importance of both legal solutions, which are being amended, it was agreed that NCEU will delegate its representatives by next week.
The meeting with Minister Obradović was attended by Dragana Potpara, State Secretary MPALSG, Chair of the Special Working Group, and representatives of Partners Serbia Ana Toskić Cvetinović, Transparency Serbia Nemanja Nenadić, Civic Initiatives Bojana Selaković and Milena Vasić on behalf of YUKOM.
