The Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Branko Ružić, spoke with Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Mubarak Saeed Al Dhaheri in Belgrade on improving bilateral cooperation in the field of public administration. Ružić said that the personal relationship of the leaders of the two countries had significantly contributed to the development of bilateral cooperation and friendly relations between the two nations. At the same time, the Serbian people feel deep gratitude for the support of the UAE to Serbia both in the development of our economy and in the troubles that our country experienced during the time of the great floods. “I would like us to exchange experience and knowledge in the field of operation of public administration, because the UAE has an advanced method of operation and we will be able to understand our possibilities in terms of modern technology and modern way of thinking much better,” the Minister said. In this regard, the Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government and the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs and the Future, which includes modernization, training of civil servants, services for citizens and other areas, was proposed to develop cooperation in the field of public administration.
