The first meeting of the new convocation of the Special Working Group for Monitoring the Situation and Proposing Measures related to the Management of Senior Civil Servants was held today in the building of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
At this meeting, which was opened by the Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Aleksandar Martinović, PhD, the situation regarding positions in state bodies was presented, a report on the current situation was presented, as well as information on the values of indicators within the EU Sectoral Budget Support.
Noting that the goal of the Working Group is to establish a better policy and coordination between the competent institutions in the management of the most important category of officials – Senior Civil Servants, Martinović had announced that the intention is to devise and propose a solution for making progress in this area.
At today’s meeting of the Working Group, the Assistant Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Ivana Savićević, had presented the Analysis of Vertical and Horizontal Coverage of Senior Civil Servants.
In addition to the representatives of the Office of the Prime Minister, the Secretary-General of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the High Civil Service Council, the National Academy for Public Administration and the HR Management Service, the Working Group in the new convocation was additionally bolstered by the representatives of the Republic Secretariat for Legislation, the General Secretariat of the President of the Republic of Serbia and the General Secretariat of the National Assembly, as well as by the representatives of the Ministry of Justice.
