PROJECT AIM: Improved public property management and improved planning and programme budgeting on the local level.
Activities are divided into two components:
Component 1: Support for the area of property management
Within the first component: of the Programme EXCHANGE 5, an implementation of the grant scheme aimed at the improvement of property management in towns and municipalities of Serbia.
In addition to programme donations through the grant scheme, support for the improvement of municipal services in property management for at least 20 towns and municipalities belonging to the underdeveloped category has been planned within the framework of the Programme.
Component 2: Support for planning and programme budgeting on the local level
Within the second component: of the Programme, towns and municipalities will be supported in the regular and comprehensive application of programme budgeting as an important process of broader reform of public financial management that puts an emphasis on the establishment of priorities and optimization of consumption with a view to encouraging the economic growth and efficient provisions of quality public administration services.
