FINAL EVENT OF THE PROJECT “SERBIAN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION RESTRUCTURING AND OPTIMISATION IN THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA 2015-2018”

As part of the EU IPA 2014 project “Public Administration Restructuring and Optimisation in the Republic of Serbia 2015-2018”, a final event will be held on 21 May at the Palace of Serbia at 10 AM to present experiences gained to date and the outlook regarding public administration restructuring and optimisation in the Republic of Serbia across all sectors.

The final event will be opened by Ivan BošnjakState Secretary at the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-GovernmentDanka Bogetić, speaking on behalf of the EU Delegation, will discuss the importance of reforms in the EU accession process, while Srđan Svirčev, speaking on behalf of the World Bank Office, will present the experiences gained to date and the support provided by the World Bank for public administration restructuring and optimisation in Serbia. In the main session, the achieved results and the expected changes at the horizontal level will be presented by representatives of the health, social protection, employment, compulsory social insurance, agriculture, environment protection and education sectors. Aleksandar Panovski, head of the Change Management Support Unit at the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, will present conclusions and recommendations for future steps in public administration restructuring and optimisation in the forthcoming period in 2019-2020.
