He was born in Loznica in 1980. He earned a degree in economics in 2017 at the Faculty of Business Economics and Entrepreneurship in Belgrade, specialising in finance, banking, and insurance; then he completed a master’s degree in the same field at the same institution in 2018. He passed the State Qualifying Exam for higher education in 2016.

 

He began his career as a non-commissioned officer in the Serbian Armed Forces, serving in the 126th Air Surveillance, Reporting, and Guidance Brigade (VOJIN) from 2000 until the end of 2006, after which he transitioned to the private sector.

 

In 2016, he became a member of the municipal council of Krupanj.

 

From 2016 to September 2020, he served as the Director of the Tourism and Sports Organisation of the Municipality of Krupanj. He holds a certification in the practical writing of projects and current grants for culture, tourism, and sports.

 

At the beginning of 2021, he worked as a cultural programme editor at the “Politika” Library in Krupanj, and, in March 2021, he was appointed Assistant Mayor of the Municipality of Krupanj for Economic Development.

 

In the 2023-2024 academic year, he worked as a part-time lecturer at the Facullty of Business Economics and Entrepreneurship, teaching “Product and Service Process Management” and “Production and Service Management”.

 

His political career began in 2014, and in 2023, he became Vice President of the Executive Board of the Serbian People’s Party.

 

On 20 June 2024, he was appointed State Secretary in the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government.

 

He speaks English and Russian.

 

He is married and the father of one child.
