The Wikipedia in Serbian language has marked two decades of its existence today at the Serbian-Korean Information Access Center (SKIP), which operated within the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government.
The SKIP Center continuously provides support to this largest collaborative online project, primarily through providing access to its fully equipped and modern premises to the Wikipedia community, by which it facilitates their work and enables networking and cooperation, but also in the form of editing articles through various actions. Since 2018, local conferences of Wikipedia editors in Serbian language have been held at the SKIP Center, in order to present newspapers, global campaigns, projects from the region, but also to familiarize stakeholders with the techniques of writing articles.
In addition, the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government provides access to the Center’s premises for the organization of competitions and editorial marathons.
