The State Secretary in the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Čedomir Rakić, has attended today the Solemn Session of the MA Vlasotince, organized on the occasion of the Municipal Day, and on that occasion presented a donation of the Ministry in the form of 20 laptops to the municipal administration, as a form of support for the development and functioning of electronic administration.
Rakić, speaking in front of the Ministry and on behalf of Minister Aleksandar Martinović, PhD, has congratulated the residents of Vlasotince on the municipal holiday, and said that Vlasotince can count on the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government to remain its reliable partner in the future, and support new ventures on the path to further development of the municipality. Referring to the previous successful cooperation between this local self-government and the Ministry, the State Secretary has pointed out that in the coming period, new high-quality projects shall be implemented in Vlasotince for the benefit of the citizens through joint efforts of the State and the local levels.
The event, which also commemorates the Vlasotince Liberation Day in the Second World War, was opened by the performance of the Youth and Children’s Choir of the Church St. Anastasija Srpska and the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Serbia. In the continuation of the ceremony, a retrospective of what was done in the period between October 2022 and October 2023 in this local self-government was shown through a short film.
The President of the Municipality of Vlasotince, Bratislav Petrović, has then presented the award recipients with traditional October awards, which this municipality awards to social, public and private enterprises, public institutions, local communities, societies and associations of citizens and individuals, as a sign of recognition for the results achieved in the development of the municipality in the fields of economy, education, culture, sports, social, child and health care, communal activities, activities of local self-government bodies and other activities of importance for the development of the municipality.
