The Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Aleksandar Martinović, PhD, has sent Christmas greetings to His Holiness the Serbian Patriarch, Mr. Porfirije, the clergy and monks of the Serbian Orthodox Church, and all believers in the Republic of Serbia who celebrate Christmas according to the Julian calendar.
“The celebration of Christ’s birth inspires us to be better and fairer people, to respect differences and to overcome all the challenges set before us, guided by the power of faith and love.
I wish all the citizens of Serbia who are celebrating Christmas on Sunday to celebrate this most joyous Christian holiday with their closest ones, in good health, peace and prosperity.
