The Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Marija Obradović, has sent greetings to all churches, clergy and believers in the Republic of Serbia who celebrate Christmas according to the Gregorian calendar.
“Although Christmas is once again celebrated in specific circumstances this year, I believe that with new optimism and hope, united and in solidarity, we can overcome these challenging times.
The day of Christ’s birth is an opportunity to remind ourselves of the inalienable values of togetherness, friendship, harmony and mutual respect, which we should continue to follow and nurture.
I wish all the citizens of Serbia who celebrate Christmas according to the Gregorian calendar to celebrate the holiday with their close ones and for their homes to be filled with peace, good health, prosperity and happiness.
