The Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Marija Obradović, has sent Christmas greetings to His Holiness the Serbian Patriarch, Mr. Porfirije, the clergy and monks of the Serbian Orthodox Church, all Orthodox churches and all believers in the Republic of Serbia who celebrate Christmas according to the Julian calendar.
“We bid farewell to a year that was just as challenging as the previous one, in which we learned how important togetherness, solidarity, faith and unity are for our people.
May the happiest Christian holiday remind us of the importance of mutual respect, love and mutual harmony, so that we can move towards new goals with dignity and full with optimism.
I wish all the citizens of Serbia who are celebrating Christmas tomorrow to celebrate the holiday in the circle of their closest ones, in good health, peace and prosperity.
