DECREE ON ONE-STOP-SHOP ADOPTED

The Decree on the detailed conditions, criteria and benchmarks for establishing One-Stop-Shops, as well as on the manner of cooperation between the competent authorities in connection with the conduct and performance of work at One-Stop-Shops, was adopted at today’s session of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

The new Decree shall contribute to the creation of a legal framework for high-quality and efficient provision of public services, with the aim of building public administration tailored to all citizens and the economy, i.e. an “Administration tailored to all of us”.

Wishing to modernize the work of local administration as soon as possible, the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government has commenced with providing support for the establishment of One-Stop-Shops six years ago. “A total of RSD 345 millions of budget funds have been invested so far in the establishment of 55 OSSs in cities and municipalities throughout the Republic of Serbia.

The establishment of One-Stop-Shops in Local Self-Government Units contributes to saving time and money for citizens and enables them to exercise all their rights by visiting only one counter.

We hereby invite local self-governments to apply for financial resources in the new cycle of the announcement of a Public Call by the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government at the beginning of next year, in order to achieve a single strategic goal for the benefit of the citizens of Serbia.
