Within the implementation of the second phase of the “Human Resources Management in Local Self-Government” project, jointly funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe, and implemented by the Council of Europe in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Government and the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities are jointly announcing a public call to the city and municipal administrations to express their interest in the implementation of the Support Package for organizational and functional improvement of the local government.
Expert support will be provided for 15 local governments (cities, municipalities or city municipalities) through the application of a specifically designed instrument – a Support Package for organizational and functional improvement of the local government (OMSP package), which aims to improve the internal organizational structure and operational efficiency of local governments .
All interested cities, municipalities and city municipalities in the Republic of Serbia have the right to participate in the invitation.
The deadline for applications is July 16, 2021, by 5 p.m.
In order to present the Support Package and explain any potential ambiguities and issues, the Council of Europe and the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities will organize an online Info Day on July 2, 2021 at 11 a.m.. Registration for participation in the Info Day is mandatory and is done via e-mail on lsg.serbia@coe.int. The accession link will be delivered to all registered participants in a timely manner.
