ISKAZIVANJE INTERESOVANJA GRAĐANA ZA VAKCINISANJE PROTIV COVID-19, NOVA USLUGA NA PORTALU EUPRAVA

Today, Lady Minister Marija Obradović visited the Office for Information Technologies and Electronic Administration, where she checked how the new service on the eGovernment Portal works, which refers to the expression of citizens’ interest in vaccination against COVID-19.

Office Director, Mihailo Jovanović, informed the Lady Minister about the functionality of the eGovernment Portal’s new service, which is the first step in organizing mass vaccination of the population, in accordance with the Immunization Plan and priorities prescribed by the Institute of Public Health of Serbia “Dr Milan Jovanović” Batut.

Citizens who want to express their relevant interest do not have to be registered users of the eGovernment Portal, but it is enough for them to complete a simple questionnaire at the address: www.euprava.gov.rs, after which they shall receive an SMS message and an email confirmation. As for themselves, citizens can fill in the questionnaire for their family members as well.

It is important to know that it is possible to delete or change the expressed interest at any time.

From Thursday, January 14th, the Contact Center will start working, through which it will also be possible to express interest in vaccination by phone call.

On this occasion, Lady Minister Obradović was convinced that the system works, as well as that it is possible to choose the type of vaccine whose safety, efficacy and quality have been confirmed by the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices, or to select the desired manufacturer whose vaccine the citizens want to use for their vaccination.

After checking the service on the eGovernment Portal, the Lady Minister stated that she was once again convinced during this working visit to the Office for Information Technology and Electronic Administration how important it is to make this type of application on the eGovernment website. She added that in 36 hours, over 100,000 citizens expressed interest in vaccination, out of which 30 percent of people did not choose the type of vaccine to be vaccinated with, and over 8,000 of them are older than 75 years.

„ All this shows the essential importance of the eGovernment, shows that when the state is ready and when you have a motive such as vaccination, you have the opportunity in a short period of time for the state to communicate electronically with citizens, and that is the essence of public administration reform“, said Obradović.

On that occasion, the Lady Minister called on the citizens to apply in as many numbers as possible, in this easy and simple way, and express their interest in vaccination and has announced the preparation of vaccination points in Serbia, which is a serious project of the Government. She also said that after this application, the second phase awaits us, and that is the realization of vaccination, because only in that way we can reach an adequate level of collective immunity and return to life faster and easier, to life as we knew it before the COVID-19 pandemic.
