LADY MINISTER MARIJA OBRADOVIĆ RECEIVED THE VACCINE AGAINST COVID-19

This morning, Lady Minister Marija Obradović received the vaccine against COVID-19 at the Belgrade Fair.

After being vaccinated with the vaccine of the Chinese manufacturer Sinofarm, Lady Minister Obradović called on all employees in state administration bodies and local self-government units, as well as all citizens of Serbia to apply for vaccination, because that is the only protection against COVID-19 at the moment.

She stated that she feels good, that there are no side effects, and that the vaccination itself does not hurt, and invited citizens to register through the eGovernment Portal or by calling the Contact Center on number: 0800 222 334, so that everyone who wants to, can get vaccinated.

Lady Minister Obradović said that vaccination in Serbia was excellently organized at more than 200 locations, as well as that 488 thousand citizens had applied for vaccination so far, and that 85 thousand had already been vaccinated. Today alone, 30,500 calls were sent to citizens across Serbia to be vaccinated, the priority is given to those invited, and those citizens who show up but who did not register will not be returned.

She added that she herself was convinced that everything was well organized and that there was no waiting, that the people who came to the Belgrade Fair were extremely satisfied, as well as the medical staff working there.

„MPALSG helps and provides logistics throughout Serbia, in all towns and municipalities where vaccination takes place, mainly in health centers and clinics, and in larger cities also at separate vaccination points, primarily in Novi Sad, Kragujevac, Niš, Kruševac, Kraljevo. It is important that people are vaccinated in the biggest possible number,” said Lady Minister Obradović.

Today, State Secretaries Maja Mačužić Puzić and Dragana Potpara received the vaccine, as well as a number of MPALSG employees, who on that occasion received a badge with the inscription “I am VACCINATED, and you?”, as a form of promotion of vaccination against COVID-19.
