LADY MINISTER MARIJA OBRADOVIĆ TALKED WITH SLOVAC REPUBLIC AMBASSADOR, MVDr. FEDOR ROSOCHA

Lady Minister Marija Obradović praised the continuous and fruitful diplomatic relations between the two countries, and pointed out that the cooperation with Slovakia was made more specific on the basis of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Slovak Republic.

„The cooperation we have in the affairs of e-government, minority communities, registry books and local self-government should be enhanced by the challenges of the post-COVID economy and projects that will facilitate the way out of crisis that has gripped the whole world,” said Marija Obradović.

Ambassador Fedor Rosocha emphasized that his country’s interest in the Western Balkans is great, and that Serbia has priority there, which is why the economic dimension of diplomacy will play an increasing role, because it is a condition for any progress and growth, both for mutual relations and for each individual society.

Lady Minister Marija Obradović thanked the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic for his support on Serbia’s path to EU membership and the unchanging and principled position of his country on the issue of non-recognition of unilaterally declared independence, of the so-called state of Kosovo.
