MARTINOVIĆ AWARDED IN LEBANE FOR EXCEPTIONAL CONTRIBUTION TO THE DEVELOPMENT AND AFFIRMATION OF THIS MUNICIPALITY

On the occasion of marking the Day of the Municipality of Lebane and the municipal patron saint day celebrating Saint Demetrius of Thessalonica – Mitrovdan, the Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Aleksandar Martinović, PhD, has attended the solemn academy of the Municipal Assembly today in Lebane, where he received the Charter for exceptional contribution to the development and affirmation of the Municipality of Lebane as an award.

Minister Martinović has pointed out that the award presented to him is the result of the unwavering policy of the entire Government of the Republic of Serbia, which is aimed at economic growth and development and national interests. He has recalled the long-term cooperation and partnership between MDULS and Lebane, and stated that in April of this year, the One-Stop-Shop was opened in this municipality, and that currently intensive work is being conducted on the project of building a green market.

The minister has emphasized that all citizens of Serbia are equal, that the leadership is fighting for every inch of territory and is working on ensuring that the people in all parts of the country have equal living conditions.

“We have invested a lot not only in Lebane, but also in the entire southern part of Serbia, and the tangible results and achievements of the responsible policy of the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and our entire Government are visible at every step, in all areas of life and work. That’s why citizens have been trusting us for more than a decade, which motivates us greatly, but also represents an obligation, to work even harder and more dedicatedly in their interest and to their benefit. Serbia has paved its own path to success, and there is no turning back from that path. Too much time has passed until Serbia found its true national strength and began to rebuild itself as a modern, independent and strong state. Now that citizens know what our Serbia can do, that it can grow, build, develop and become stronger, there is no turning back,” the minister has said in Lebane.
