MARTINOVIĆ: VALUABLE ECONOMIC INVESTMENT IN ZAJEČAR WILL BE THE RESULT OF THE JOINT WORK OF LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENT AND THE HEAD OF THE STATE

Today, the Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Aleksandar Martinović visited the City Administration building in Zaječar, where for the first phase of the roof reconstruction 20 million RSD were allocated from this year’s budget of the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government. On that occasion, he expressed his belief that a new public call for the allocation of funds from the Local Fund could be sent during the year, after the budget rebalancing, which would enable the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government to support the complete reconstruction of the roof covering.

Speaking about the successful cooperation between the ministry and this local self-government, the minister recalled that the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government previously supported the introduction of the e-parliament system with a total of 25 million RSD, and that it financed the renovation of the offices within the two floors of the second building of the City Administration, which he also visited today.

At the meeting held with the mayor of Zaječar, Boško Ničić, and his colleagues, they talked about the challenges the city is facing, and about many implemented and planned capital projects. The meeting was also an opportunity for the minister to donate 20 laptops to the city administration as a form of support for the development and functioning of electronic administration.

After the meeting, the minister and the management of Zaječar visited the asphalting works in the city center.

Emphasizing the importance of the policy of integral development of the whole of Serbia, which is implemented by the Government of Serbia and the President of the Republic Aleksandar Vučić, the minister expressed his belief that Zaječar will soon receive a large economic investment, as a result of the joint work of this local self-government and the state leadership.

During today’s stay in Zaječar, Martinović visited the women’s association “Romula”, the ethnic household “Ivković” in the village of Leskovac, and also visited the Visitor Center at the late antique site “Feliks Romulijana”.
