MDULS DONATED 40 LAPTOPS TO KOVIN AND ZRENJANIN WITH THE AIM OF MORE EFFICIENT WORK OF LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENTS

The State Secretary at the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Đorđe Dabić, has visited Kovin today, where he presented the representatives of the municipal administration with Ministry’s donation in the form of 20 laptops, with the aim of facilitating the work of the local administration.

Dabić also used his visit to this municipality to visit the works on the construction of the sports and recreation center in Kovin, a project that is being implemented in cooperation with the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the Provincial Government and the local self-government. The State Secretary has stated that, in the coming year, the Government of the Republic of Serbia will financially support the construction of a camp, a bicycle path, as well as the construction of entertainment and recreational facilities within the aforementioned centre.

He also visited the City of Zrenjanin today, and donated 20 laptops to the representatives of the city administration as a form of support to the development and functioning of eGovernment. According to him, with this symbolic donation, the Ministry is trying to improve the work of local authorities and show that it is there to help and support all cities and municipalities in Serbia.

Dabić added that great progress has been achieved since the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government started the process of overall digitization of public administration, with the sole aim of simplifying administrative procedures, in order to enable citizens to quickly and efficiently exercise all their rights that they have before the administrative bodies. .
