MINISTER MARIJA OBRADOVIC TALKS TO FRENCH AMBASSADOR JEAN-LOUIS FALCONI

The Minister of State Administration and Local Self-Government Marija Obradović expressed satisfaction with the cooperation with France in management and public administration reform, which is based on the common interest – the integration of Serbia into the EU. Obradović praised the efforts of both sides in the segment of human resources management and professional development and confirmed that the Serbian administration was ready to intensify relations with France through various topics and cooperation projects.

The Ambassador of France to Serbia, Jean-Louis Falconi, pointed out the specificity of the relations between Serbia and France referring to exchange at the political and technical level, as well as the interest of the French administration to share its good practice with Serbia. The cooperation was facilitated by the constant presence of the French expert assigned to the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, but also by the cooperation with the National Academy for Public Administration (NAPA), the Human Resource Management Service (SUK) and the General Secretariat (GENSEK).

Minister Obradović and Ambassador Falconi announced the possibility of future cooperation on issues of common interest in post-Covid challenges such as gender equality and digitalization of public services.
