Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Marija Obradović talked today, during her visit to Čačak, to the Mayor Milun Todorović about the previous cooperation between the Ministry and the city of Čačak, as well as about the plans for future activities.
The work meeting between the Minister Obradović and the Mayor Todorović addressed projects for which budget funds were allocated to the city of Čačak and which were completed, and also the situation with and the implementation of current projects not only in Čačak, but in the entire Moravički administrative district.
The meeting particularly addressed the achieved level of vaccination of citizens of Čačak and of municipalities in the Moravički administrative district and the importance of a higher vaccination coverage of all citizens, particularly young population.
It was concluded that Čačak, as the centre of the Moravički administrative district, has the main role in organisation of the forthcoming gatherings and events, such as the Guča Trumpet Festival, and that the city management is aware that we are in the so-called new normal, new living conditions, which inevitably affect organisation of such events.
Minister Obradović visited Čačak today, where she first attended an extraordinary session of the Council of the Moravički administrative district, on which possibilities were considered for organisation of traditional events in this region, with revision of organisation plans and respect of strict preventative measures against the spread of COVID-19.
