MUNICIPALITIES OF PARAĆIN, TOPOLA AND KOSJERIĆ SHALL HAVE A “ONE-STOP SHOP”

The municipalities of Paraćin, Topola and Kosjerić will as of today, open “One-Stop Shop”. The Lady Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Marija Obradović, congratulated the Municipal Presidents, because after today’s signing of the Contract with the Ministry, the residents of these three municipalities will have the opportunity to exercise all their demands and rights in one place.

„By establishing “One-Stop Shop”, we shall all jointly provide the best possible service to the citizens, and that is to submit their request in a single place in the municipality, and to get a solution in the same place”, said Obradović.

She called on the Presidents of all three municipalities to explain to their citizens from today until the opening day, what “One-Stop Shop” means. That it means, that there are no more walks from counter to counter, and that they shall submit their request in one place, and the municipal official shall perform all the other work on their behalf. In this way, local administrations will become a service to their citizens, saving them time and money on the path to exercising their rights, the Minister concluded.

Obradović also said that this year 12 municipalities applied for the project of establishing “One-Stop Shop”, and that only Paraćin, Topola and Kosjerić met the criteria for obtaining funds from the budget.

„For our country, but also for this Ministry, the 20 million dinars paid to your municipalities for this Project, are not a small amount. That is why I invite you to use them in accordance with what we signed today, and to be ready to open “One-Stop Shops” on time and without delay,” said Lady Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government..

Agreements on the Use of Funds for the Establishment of “One-Stop Shop” with Lady Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government were signed today by the Municipal Presidents of Paraćin and Kosjerić, Vladimir Milićevič and Žarko Đokić, and by the Power of Attorney of the Municipal President of Topola, by Miodrag Milovanović.

So far, 10 “One-Stop Shops” have been opened in Serbia, in Lazarevac, Šabac, Zitište, Smederevska Palanka, Bela Palanka, Sombor, Kruševac, Vlasotince, Užice and Gornji Milanovac, and it is expected to open them in four more municipalities by the end of this year.
